Spring is in the Air

We are pretty excited to have the first quarter behind us, mostly because January, February and March are just a lead-in to what is coming.  Now that we have hit April – the countdown has begun for the exciting summer season that lies ahead. 

There will be some new changes in the Village this year, including a new waterfront restaurant (stay tuned for more details!), a new home interior and accessories boutique – Chatham House Interior Design and a Chris-Craft Design Studio at Walstrom Marine. There are a couple more announcements that will be forthcoming, but all of our Village merchants are counting down the days for the season ahead.  We are busy planning for the events for 2021 including In Water Boat Show, Arts Festival and Balloons Over Bay Harbor.  This year, Bay Harbor will also be hosting D’Art for Art in July on the Marina Lawn under a fabulous tent! 

In her first year, our Special Events Manager Carolyne has booked many weddings and groups for 2021, and our Lake Marina is at capacity for seasonal boaters.  The Little Traverse Ferry will once again be running and docked at our Marina for trips to Petoskey and Harbor Springs, and Great Lakes Center for the Arts has some great performances lined up for this year as well. 

It has been a year for the history books, and all of us are definitely ready to create new memories this year.  It’s shaping up to be a fabulous one!  We hope to see you all soon…
