Pier B Dock Expansion
Bay Harbor Company is excited to announce a dock expansion at the Bay Harbor Lake Marina, scheduled to be in operation in June of 2022. This is the first change in the 26 years that the marina has been operating.
The expansion will be on Pier B, adding 35 new slips that range from 40’ to 120’, and are currently available for reservations, however the seasonal dockage is going fast. There is quite a demand in the boating industry for seasonal slips, and Bay Harbor has the luxury of having a protected harbor that leads directly into Little Traverse Bay. The marina only offers floating docks, that greatly accommodate the ever-changing water levels in Little Traverse Bay and Bay Harbor Lake.
The docks are all just steps to Bay Harbor’s Downtown Village which has an eclectic collection of restaurants, boutiques, spirits and wine tasting venues, specialty services, premier events and the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, a world-class performing arts center. In 2022, the Village is completely leased and will be bustling with activity all season long.
Amenities for boaters include a boater’s lounge, restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, electrical and water hook-up, dockside sanitary pump out and a dedicated staff of dock-hands to assist you on the docks. Boat cleaning services, fishing charters and bicycles for boaters use are also available.
Village Suites Bay Harbor and Bay Harbor Vacation Homes are within walking distance from the docks if needed for special lodging accommodations.

Bay Harbor Lake Marina received the honorable designation of a Michigan Clean Marina by the Clean Marina Program (CMP) Committee. The Clean Marina Program (CMP) is a joint undertaking by the Michigan Boating Industries Association, Michigan Sea Grant, and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. It is the policy of a clean marina to protect the health of boaters, staff, and the environment by preventing the discharge of pollutants to the water, land, and air.

Just because you don’t reside in Bay Harbor doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be treated like you do! Reserve a transient dock for your weekend get-a-way or week stay. Transient boaters have the opportunity to enjoy all of the amenities Bay Harbor Lake Marina has to offer during their stay. Transient rates are based on the overall length of your vessel and the dock location.
