Hello October….where did the summer season rush off to?  The trees are bursting with color in northern Michigan, and a chill is definitely in the air.  Dips in the lake, and catching some rays on the boat are probably behind us…but we need to stop and take the time to embrace the most colorful month of the year.  There is something very special about October.  As our seasons change, so does our Village, as many of our specialty shops are closing soon for the winter season that lies ahead.  We are very proud of all of our Village merchants who made it through and kept their sanity this summer season.  We all know it was not an easy one. So take a walk in the autumn air, sip a spiced latte, pick some Michigan apples, cozy up to a crackling fire, buy a few pumpkins, watch a little football or sip some Whiskey…that is a little bit of what Fall is all about up here.
